Junior Interior Designer

Candidates will have a broad understanding of the pre- and post-design development design process, understanding conceptual design/ planning, design intent development, schematic design, specifications, programming, documentation, feasibility and the delivery of interior design solutions. Be attentive to detail, accuracy and visual aesthetic managing resources, timelines, implementation and quality of product. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally with departmental personnel, management, contractors, consultants and clients. Working within a team environment is a must for this position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing design ideas to match the client’s needs through programming with proper visual aesthetic cultivating a point of view and being able to express it both verbally, written and through creative expression.

  • Research, manage and provide materials costs for the selection process for materials, palettes, finishes and furnishings (FF&E) to prepare client presentation. 

  • Prepare client presentation materials, room finishes for construction requirements and assist with preparations, verification and submission of interior furniture and finish orders along with additional duties. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or equivalent from CIDA accredited university required. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat and Sketch-Up a must.

  • Experience with 2020 Cap, Revit and V-Ray a plus.

  • 1-3 years of commercial design experience preferred.

 This position will receive bi-weekly salaried pay, bonus opportunities, and an excellent benefits package.

Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to assist our Project Managers, Site Managers, and Architects in administration and technical direction of our projects. This position is required to understand, communicate and execute customer expectations on each and every project. Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic, schedule-oriented, detail-oriented, have a great attitude, and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Proficiency at properly preparing and soliciting requests for proposals/bids, including, but not limited to, negotiating and contracting for all divisions of Design Builder’s scope of work.

  • All candidates are required to be skilled at reading and understanding construction drawings/blue prints along with analyzing bids and procuring subcontractor services along with experienced knowledge in addressing and responding to job site questions.  

  • Minor travel may be required.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. 

  • 3-5 years applicable experience.

  • Proficiency and knowledge of different Project Management software, as well as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

  • Candidates should be skilled at multi-tasking, prioritizing, follow-up skills, and have the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy .
