Old branches? New markets? It’s time to align.

Site and facility management can be accomplished in two ways: from a distance or up close and personal. A personal walk-through, coupled with data assessments, overlaying competitive dynamics, and market demographics and shifts paints a complete, dynamic picture. One would imagine, as you walk around and look at your organization and closely review your branches and markets, you probably see three very evident trends.

  1. Some branches are worn.
  2. Some branches are vibrant.
  3. Some branches are misplaced.

When we conduct a market assessment and analysis at the beginning of many of our design/build projects, these are the common threads we uncover. We point out what most of the branch staff may feel, management sees in reports, and customers in your markets act upon. The alignment of thought and perspective with the clarity of data and finite assessment of market potential/opportunity is a critical path that all banks and credit unions need to consider to ensure their current and future branch success.

As a leading design/build firm, we see what is present today and how to fix it. But we also see what could be and where you should be—key differences in our strategic branching process. Sure, we build great branches, bold main offices, and efficient operations centers. We also bring new life to aging branches through strategic renovations, refreshes and reimagined space. However, this is just one half of the real need for many banks and credit unions. The fully developed need is to align your current branches, current markets, potential markets and potential new locations. This intersection of planning is where the DEI difference shines brightly.

We believe branch growth is closer than you think. The path is clearer than it seems, and
with changing consumer patterns, digital technology and market dynamics, today is the day to better align your branch strategy with the market potential.

The best first step is to determine what exactly you are solving for and then align the process to that outcome. At your organization, it could be building new locations. Or maybe you’re renovating? Is your footprint changing? Is your location just getting a refresh? Or is the space being completely reimagined? These are all viable options, and DEI is an expert in aligning your branch look, feel and usability with the markets you serve, both today and tomorrow.

This is where we can help you. We bring a fresh perspective, clear vision and helpful ideas on what the space could become and how to refresh a space and add energy.

Give us a shout and let’s craft an alignment process together. You can visit our Think Tank space to reimagine your space needs, and we can evaluate the physical space and provide ideas, thoughts and visual images of what might be truly possible.
