The opening of BrightStar Credit Union’s corporate headquarters promoted new opportunities in the community. It is a significant milestone in the city’s commitment to welcoming banking and finance services.
The 71,800-square-foot building was developed by the Monterra Community Development District and designed by DEI. It consolidates all company operations and 130 employees into one location. The building also includes a new branch.
The building’s design takes a new approach to commercial real estate, transforming workspaces into convivial experiences that meet the needs of both members and employees. It responds to the rapidly shifting office environment, turning each floor into human-centric spaces where staff can enjoy services and amenities such as a wellness room, an outdoor cafe and an entertainment lounge.
BrightStar has turned the office into a home away from home with a more casual style that promotes a more flexible working environment. The credit union sees the workplace as a collaborative, interactive and social hub, a destination where one can find a balance between high productivity and quiet concentration.
The building also reflects the organization’s environmental, social and corporate governance approach to business, blending people’s well-being, technology and customer service into a structure designed for the future.
